Steering

This page covers the restoration work I have done on the car's steering. I purchased a steering box overhaul kit from The Filling Station and began the tear down. Once the box was apart, I discovered that the Worm was trashed. Luckily I found a steering box at Memory Lane Classic Car Dismantlers and was able to get a good Worm Shaft Assembly out of a 1951 Chevy. The steering box has been rebuilt to original specifications.
