Engine

The original 216.5 cu. in. engine has been replaced with a more "modern" 261 cu. in. engine taken from a 1962 Chevrolet truck. The engine has been outfitted with a 1953 235 head, a Holley Weber 2bl progressive carb and a 1953 'vette dual exhaust. Below are the engine specifications:

  • 261 cu. in.
  • 3.75" Bore
  • 3.9375" Stroke
  • 8.25:1 Compression Ratio (with 235 head)
  • 33.7 Horsepower
  • 150@4000 RPM Rated Brake Horsepower
  • 1-5-3-6-2-4 Firing Order
